Stoic Calm History Film and the Establishment





Brian from "Transparency and Merit" has been a guest on "The Mad Shangi Show" a few times and always has interesting things today. This video is part of his "Stoic Calm" series of live streams. On this one he seems to get into some metaphysical concepts as it relates to history and film, I think. Transparency and Merit is a YouTube channel that deserves a lot more attention than I feel it's getting. It only has a little over 100 subscribers, but these two guys keep churning out consistent, and thought-provoking content.

I'm ambivalent about how I feel about this interview now, long after I first streamed it. A lot has changed since then. The most drastic thing that's changed is how I feel about Nathan after coming into contact with his circle of people. I saw him as a victim, now I see him as a bit of a grifter. A con man. Like, Corey Feldman, he set out to make a movie to expose pedophilia, from his own experience. However, there was controversy about where all the funds went, and some say... it ended up in a crack den where they Nathan was alleged to have been found passed out in. ALIEN creature design - a visual analysis

Here is an awesome visual and psychological analysis/deconstruction of HR Giger's Alien creature design. Rob Ager has been a very inspirational YouTube content creator. He certainly has changed the way I look at movies. Now I'm picking up on the subliminals in everything. Ager is the reason I took an interest in learning about the Illuminati, after he referenced them in his videos about Kubrick. About "Eyed Wife Shut" and "A Clockwork Orange." Ager's breakdown on the visual design of the alien is fascinating, the way he explains the logic behind the whole thing. Why the alien looks scarier without eyes... why the design stands apart from other movie aliens to this day... why the alien looks like a very tall man with a penis for a skull and a tail.
