ALIEN creature design - a visual analysis



Here is an awesome visual and psychological analysis/deconstruction of HR Giger's Alien creature design. Rob Ager has been a very inspirational YouTube content creator. He certainly has changed the way I look at movies. Now I'm picking up on the subliminals in everything. Ager is the reason I took an interest in learning about the Illuminati, after he referenced them in his videos about Kubrick. About "Eyed Wife Shut" and "A Clockwork Orange." Ager's breakdown on the visual design of the alien is fascinating, the way he explains the logic behind the whole thing. Why the alien looks scarier without eyes... why the design stands apart from other movie aliens to this day... why the alien looks like a very tall man with a penis for a skull and a tail. I'm ambivalent about how I feel about this interview now, long after I first streamed it. A lot has changed since then. The most drastic thing that's changed is how I feel about Nathan after coming into contact with his circle of people. I saw him as a victim, now I see him as a bit of a grifter. A con man.
